We are going to visit in July and was wondering if there was any diffrent wildlife there other then birds and marine life (exp. Monkeys) Is it as fun and wonderfull as they claim it to be? I'm looking for good wildlife and just an aww inspiring time. We are staying at Gala Beach Resort Huatulco for 10 days.

The wildlie is like all wildlife .. it like to stay hidden.

We havew jaguars, monkeys, iguanas (big ones) snakes and coyotes, wolves, deer, antelope etc. Though seeing them can be hard.

Realistically you won't see much that is wild except birds and reptiles. Iguanas are quite common, but the other animals on that list are not. I've lived here since July 2004 and I've only seen a monkey once. I've never seen anything like a jaguar or antelope.
