The former Senor Cactus has been taken over by new management. It has a new name, which is ... da dar - 'Cactus'. It is on 'Calle Flamboyan' (Ca ye flam boy anne) near to Oasis (forget that) and El Giardino del papa (that ain't that bad).

The new owner is friendly and he and his wife serve good breakfast inc fruit juice & unlimited good coffee for less than $4 US.

I have not eaten in the evening yet, but will soon. Also I will put it on a bar crawl I have planned for 18 December.

The bar crawl will take in some unusual dives/bars of Huatulco including ... La Crema, La Pena, Casa Mayor, That place next to Cafe Dublin (I never remember it's name - very macho vibe), The rock n roll bar (has anyone been there yet )... funny place with old seventies videos from rocks heyday ... though when we went there the owner kept playing some dodgy live concert in memory of George Harision .. great guy and all but not on a Saturday night please no (I had to suffer more double chins than Kirsty Allen). Also why was Eric Clapton playing our Georges bits? Didn't he steal his wife and love of his life very publicly?

Also the German Beerkeller ... Medieval bar. Absolute hoot, if you are pi**ed. My Bar crawls tend to be pretty tongue in cheek.

Anyway I will report ... I only do this for you. I hate all that drinking and singing and general mayhem ... honest.
