Huatulco

Hi,

My husband and I hope to visit some ruins during our stay in Huatulco... are there any within a few hours' travelling time? And if so, how is it best to get to them?

Are there any other places of interest within a few hours of Huatulco that we may want to consider? (we are very tempted not to move for the 2 weeks we are there, however if there is something worth it we may work up the energy! Laughing

)

There are only little bits of Ruins in Huatulco itself. La Bocana has the most extensive. Ask for Lalo at Los Guerros restaurnat there. He is a local boy who will shhow you them.

Give him $5 or so.

Of course there is the mighty Monte Alban (google it), which is a nightover in Oaxaca city if you fly. You can drive there but the road is tough and will be at least 5 hours of drive each way.

There are also all the old ruins in the 'Dublin Bar' ... crazy old Gringos if that is your thing.
